We have been using Angus Bulls for many years, with the policy of keeping a closed herd.

We have been producing Angus cattle for Dovecote Park and Waitrose for 15years and have developed into a few purebred cattle to produce some bulls. This allows our closed herd policy to include male as well as female cattle. We aim to breed better cattle for this premium market that are easy to handle and produce high quality meat as efficiently as possible. A few heifers have been purchased and some embryo’s imported to start a herd of high performance cattle. Breed improvement has continued using semen selected from top performing bulls.
